HANNAH





Hannah Hayes is an award-winning writer, editor, and producer who shares stories about culture, music, food, and travel. Previously, she worked for Wildsam Field Guides, VMP (Vinyl Me, Please), The Bitter Southerner, and Southern Living. Hannah has edited and written 11 books about American cities, towns, and regions; commissioned essays from acclaimed writers including Ruth Reichl, Jericho Brown, and Robert Gordon; interviewed hundreds of people from Grammy-recognized musicians to airport custodians; and produced multiple cover story packages. 

She has a special place in her heart for print and analog media.  

Hannah has contributed to Garden & Gun, Huckberry, Saveur, Esquire, and NPR’s “Marketplace.” She also helps artists, nonprofits, restaurants, small businesses, podcasters, and tech companies like Mighty Networks tell compelling stories. 

Hannah lives in New Orleans with her cat, Crock Pot. She loves Bob Dylan, neighborhood walks, maps, and humidity.
